Suurstoffi site with lean construction management

The project "Suurstoffi", a sustainable, eco-friendly and economical project with a focus on net zero carbon, is currently under construction in Risch-Rotkreuz near Zurich. On completion, Suurstoffi will offer housing for approximately 1,500 residents, jobs for 2,500 people and a university campus for 2,000 students, restaurants, cafés and public areas that will serve as daily recreation spaces. SiteLog is providing the construction logistics planning and realisation for the university campus. The university premises consist of three buildings; one of these buildings poses extreme logistical challenges. On completion, it will be the highest wooden skyscraper in Switzerland with a height of 60 metres.
