Universitätsklinikum Erlangen

Surgery centre Erlangen

After the opening of the new ward building in August 2013, the surgery centre at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen was also replaced in a second construction stage. Once the old ward building has been demolished, the construction of a functional wing with 20 operating theatres, two intensive care units, an extended and fully-equipped central A & E department and a helicopter landing pad is scheduled to be completed between 2015 and 2020.
